No dressmaker's form yet. The girl who thought she had one can't find it. No, something that big doesn't mysteriously get itself lost. It's probably tucked neatly in her storage bin. Oh, well. If it doesn't work out with her, I'll just put it out there again.
The skirt's not finished yet, either. It's coming along nicely and could be finished tomorrow, if I don't sidetrack myself the way I did today.
Sometimes Mom lets me play with her toys. Right now, I have her digital camera and, when I learn to use it, I'd like to put some pics here so you can see what I'm describing. So, today I charged the batteries and spent a little time getting to know the camera. I'm not even going to come close to apologizing that I'm only now discovering the joys of digital pictures because I'll bet a bunch of you aren't there yet, either. When you're still on the torn edge of technology, it's nice to know that not everyone is on the cutting edge.
Speaking of technology, today I started one of the W3Schools Online Web Tutorials so I can learn HTML. Ok, so that's not a new science, either, but it is when you're first learning it. It's not that there's any urgency for me to learn all those tags and such, it's that it comes in handy to know it and not to have to look it up when I need to use it.
Actually, I have another blog and I need to use a little HTML right now to add some ad content, but I haven't learned enough yet to know how to do what I want to do.
And that's why there are no pictures on my blog and the skirt is still waiting to be finished.
