RAFW Blackout

A power outage in Sydney this morning put a sudden halt to the Zimmerman show at Rosemount Australian Fashion Week.
.
Guests were being seated for the show, which was due to start at 10am. At 10.45 (the show was running fashionably late) a sudden power outage meant the show could not begin, but organiser Simon Lock asked patrons to "sit tight".
Designer Nicky Zimmerman didn't seem fazed.
"I'm just glad it didn't happen during the show,'' she said. "It's fine, we're just going to re-steam (the clothes).''
According to the Sydney Morning Herald, patrons headed to the bar to wait, but were asked to leave their gift bags behind so the room would "look nice" when they returned.
The show got underway an hour later.
